The achievement of our mission relies on our dedicated team & we're proud of all we've achieved so far.
Meet the team
Hannah Parr, Director
Hannah is a registered Osteopath (B.Ost) who is a trained and practising Aquatic Therapist. For the last four years, she has been devoted to promoting community hydrotherapy as she has seen first hand, the benefit these sessions can have on the community.
Apart from organising the OCAW sessions, Hannah works in private practice looking after her patients musculoskeletal problems on a daily basis, where she looks to support and empower her patients into recovery.
Her GOsC registration number is 9186.
Martina Slavikova, Instructor
Martina is a qualified Primary Teacher specialising in physical education from Slovakia. She was also a national volleyball player for 12 years which taught her to love sports and importance of exercise.
Since arriving in England in 1998, she has started coaching and teaching different sports. She always loved swimming but never had an opportunity to swim professionally so she became a qualified swimming Instructor. She has been a level 2 Swimming Instructor in local Sport Centres in Oxford for the last 5 years, working with all ages and levels but specialises in swimming technique for competitive swimmers. For the last 2 years she has also volunteered as a coaching assistant for the Kidlington swimming club and has progressed to coaching the 8-12 year olds.
Martina leads both sessions at Barton Leisure Centre.
Carolyn Hutchinson, Instructor
I am a qualified Sports Therapist with years of experience providing massage, rehabilitation, first aid and preventing injuries within a top rugby club.
Primarily, I am a full time swimming teacher with 12 years experience teaching all around the world. I was once a competitive swimmer, representing my district.
Interesting fact: I'm a bit of a dare devil and have jumped out of a plane at 15,000 ft in aid of Tommy's Charity.
What's your story?
Carolyn leads the Monday session at Ferry Leisure Centre.
